Malsta Church & Lake

This church was built most likely in the late 1200’s or around 1300. Evidence suggests the vestry is older and belonged to an earlier wooden church. In the latter half of the 1400’s the porch was added to the south. Otherwise, the exterior has been relatively untouched since the middle ages. The interior is characterized by work done in the 1730’s and 1740’s.

The bell frame was clad in wood 1831 and houses the medieval church bell.
