Ulfsunda Manor

One of the first mentions of Ulfsunda is from a runestone erected in memory of a peasant named Björn who lived in Ulvsund (now Ulfsunda). All that remains of the stone are fragments housed in the Stockholm City Museum.

The farm Ulvsunda has been known since the 1300’s.

The current manor was completed shortly after Lennart Torstensson returned from serving as commander-in-chief of the Swedish troops in Germany. It was reportedly finished enough in 1647 that he lived there and was visited by Queen Kristina. He lived there often during the following years, often very ill.
