St. Mary’s Church in Båstad (and trike)

St. Mary’s Church is a three aisled church dating from the 1400’s. It is considered culturally interesting due to the fact that it’s large compared to most other medieval churches. The cultural significance is heightened by old frescoes, the stellar vault in the nave and cross vaults. Construction began in the 1450’s and completed in the early 1500’s. It was consecrated to the Virgin Mary in the 1460’s.
