Uppland Runestones #252 (in wall), 259 & 260 (red granite)

Rune Translation for #252 – ‘Byrnjulv and Ulv and… … the stone after Gudlög, their mother.’

Info for #252 – It is likely that the Gudlög mentioned in this stone is the same on stones #253. U-#252 was carved by the Runemaster Öpir who did a lot of work in the latter half of the 11th century.

Rune Translation U #259 – ‘Kåre, Munulv’s proclaimed heir …. after Froste, his/her son.’

Rune Translation U #260 – ‘Gismund and Viking raised the stone after Sigvast, their father.’
