Sånga Church

The church was built in the 2nd half of the 1100’s in Romanesque style with a tower on the west side. During the 1300’s the church was extended to the east. Between 1430 to 1470 the porch was added on the south and the ceiling was equipped with a cross vault. A high spire much like the current one was built in the 1500’s, but was destroyed by lightning to be replaced with the current spire dating from 1730.
