Round Church
My husband and I drove one of the routes I hope to do this summer. It’s a 2 or 3 day tour over some islands in the middle of a large lake south of Uppsala and west of Stockholm. I forgot to get the name of this church, annoyingly, so I can’t give any history on it except that it also served as a defensive shelter in times of raids. It appears that most churches built in this fashion also doubled as mini-forts.
