This church was built in the 1200’s on a pennisula of Lake Ekoln. In 1659, a tomb was built for the lord of Hammarskog Castle (more like a manor house), Knut Posse. It’s biggest attraction is a triumphal cruicifix. If you look at the photo closely there is a dark smudge in the white plaster under the eave of the roof between the two center windows. It’s actually a chunk of a runestone.
